Longines

Since 1832 the Swiss Watch brand Longines have created classic luxury watches which have stood the test of time. Founded by Auguste Aggasiz, the brand is inspired by aviation, with the winged hour glass logo now renowned as the symbol for quality accurate sports watches and chronometers.

In 1896 Longines provided timers for the very first modern Olympic Games, and Longines watches are even used in expeditions to the North Pole since 1899 - tried and tested even in the most extreme conditions.

Innovation is close to the brand's heart and soul, illustrated when they produced the first ever watch with an LCD display screen in 1972.

Famous for their accuracy and proven reliability, Longines have been the official timekeeper for major sporting events including American Football, Tennis, Skiing, Equestrian events, Gymnastics, Athletics and Aeronautics. Longines have well and truly put Switzerland on the map for their legendary watchmaking.
