Founded in 1881, by Kintarō Hattori, Seiko are a Japanese manufacturer of luxury watches. Originally named Seikosha - roughly translating as 'House of Exquisite Workmanship', Seiko is a Japanese word meaning 'exquisite' or 'success'.

The very first watches produced under the brand name appeared in 1924. Worn by Roger Moore and Sean Connery as James Bond, as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Seiko instantly became the go-to brand for luxury watches.
